Absolut Vodka

Absolut Vodka with its pure and natural taste is one of the world's most famous vodkas.



In 1879, Lars Olsson Smith introduced the continuous distillation with which he made Absolut Pure Vodka. Instead of the usual three or four times, the vodka was distilled an infinite number of times.   Like the rest of the family, it’s produced in Åhus and made from water and winter wheat.

The water comes from a deep well in Åhus where it is protected from impurities. The winter wheat is sown in autumn with Swedish snow developing the hard grain during the winter.An 18th century medicine flask found in an antique store in Stockholm that gave inspiration to the iconic Absolut bottle.

Being so pure, why drink this vodka any other way than it is? In fact, there's a good reason why: the purer the vodka, the better it blends with other aromas, meaning Absolut brings out the best in other tastes too.
