Andrew Garrett NV Sparkling Burgundy is a rich effervescent red with generous ripe fruit enhanced by the bottling process that retains the natural peppery varietal character of the Shiraz grape.
Considered Australia's most popular Sparkling Burgundy, this drop is made from premium McLaren Vale Shiraz. Consistent in style and versatile in service it has been heralded as the perfect aperitif, and as an ideal acompaniement to both rich cuisine and light snacks.
A deep purple red in colour with an amber red cloaking and a deep cherry heart. The nose is of black forest, red sweet delightful fruit jelly, McLaren fruit, pepper, spice and truffly characters.
A bouquet of strong varietal character, not complex but content, ginger, allspice and rosemary and,complex berries, a mixed basket of summer fruit, chocolate, cherry ripe, butter and honey. The palate is extremely wide, the flavours blend together to give an impressive finish.
