Andrew Garrett Pinot Chardonnay NVA is a soft, well balanced Australian white wine with generous flavours enhanced by subtle oak, retaining the natural varietal character of the Chardonnay grape.
The wine is pale gold in colour with a bouquet of ripe peaches. On the palate Andrew Garrett Pinot Chardonnay NVA shows rich fruit character tempered by crisp, fresh acidity and just a hint of oak. Notes of fine peach, melon, tropical fruits and citrus harmonise on the deep, elegant palate.
Good length with delicacy and attractive chalky characters, a fresh and orchard-like Australian Chardonnay with enticing hints of stewed apples, nectarines and nuts, with a finish that can be descirbed as stylish. The balance between acid and fruit, wood and varietal characters, is impeccable, oak enhances but does not dominate the wine. Refreshing and flavoursome, enjoy this chardonnay with seafood, poultry and pasta, or spicy Asian.
