Charles Heidsieck is today among the most prestigious brands of Champagne. The Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve has been carefully matured before sediment removal and an additional ageing of several years.
Colour is golden straw-yellow and deep. An entrancing bead that persists, each burst emanates with the bouquets of this?spectacular wine. The nose is delicate but fresh. In the beginning floral notes with violet, irises and lilac. On the palate there is a rush of giggly yeast, great swathes of of fresh from the oven hot baked brioche flavours, golden buttery thick with candy like oils. There are hints of citrus peel closely followed by fruity notes of fresh fig, greengage plums and stewed rhubarb.
