Jim Barry Watervale Riesling

The tiny village of Watervale (population 246), nestled in South Australia's Clare Valley, is internationally renowned for
the quality of its Riesling.  This Jim Barry Riesling is classic Watervale,lemons, limes and a wonderfully clean, crisp finish.

Winemaking Notes
This wine has a water like clarity with green tints with an expressive and joyful nose. Aromas of a bowl of sliced fruit with notably freshly squeezed kaffir lime, grapefruit and lemon and newly cut watermelon. The palate is quenching and mouthwatering with high approachability and direction with supportive natural acid structure. A palate full of fruit and texture with underlying complexity of lanolin, floral aspect, wet stone and paw paw.

A wine created to enjoyed upon release but also having the character to be cellared into the next decade to increase the complexity already apparent.  Delicious with a wide variety of foods, includingseafood, chicken and summer salads.
