The super premium quality of Matusalem GRAN RESERVA RUM is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but can also be savoured with your favourite mixers. It has been aged for approximately 15 years, with the main blender rums carefully united with more exuberent, younger rums, resulting in an exquisite bouquet and flavour It is exotic, sensuous, complex, free spirited and worldly.
Colour: A rich golden colour comparable to those found in the world's best oak barrel aged spirits.? Its clear, brilliant red and amber tones come from the Solera system of blending young and mature rums in oack casks.
Nose: It imparts a keen sense of its grace through its aroma of sweet vanilla, molasses, caramel and plums.? This lavish offering results in a mellow, rich, subtle and exqusitely refined rum.
Taste: Superbly blended in the grand Cuban tradition, Matusalem Gran Reserva offers a delicate taste.? Velvety smooth, with an exceptional bouquet and delicate flavours of vanilla, molasses and caramel, its complex palate generates barely any heat.? Its dry toasty flavours take centre stage before slowly ebbing away in a long satisfying finish.
