Maxime Trijol VSOP is a quality VSOP from the Maxime Trijol house, one of the few independents still controlling and performing all aspects of production in-house. France. Strength: 40% ABV Bottle Size: 70cl.
TASTING NOTES
A beautiful nose of vanilla, spice and some dried fruit on the initial aromas, developing to include a little apricot and oak, well structured body, mellow and rich on the palate, but also fruity with a light and elegant touch, finishes well with a little tickle of fire from the spirit.

The Maxime Trijol family originally settled as growers and distillers in St Martial Sur N,, in the heart of the Cognac region. Their first still was installed in November 1859, and in 1962 they became professional distillers. An independent family firm, Maxime Trijol has twenty 2,500 litre charentais pot stills and is one of the largest distillers of cognac. The current head of the company, Jean-Jacques Trijol, is an artist, wielding his skilful palate through the process of distillation and blending, adapting'sometimes minutely,the spirit he collects from each still and varying his technique slightly depending on the harvest and the wine. In recent times the company has concentrated on releasing more of its own cognacs, which are building a solid reputation for quality.
