A mission that had already arisen in the spirit of its founder, Florens Louis Heidsieck, in 1785, for whom excellence was matched only by boldness and who liked to claim ,to create very serious wines that know how to smile,.
Since then, Piper-Heidsieck has continued to blend respect of traditions and exceptional champagne with an avant-garde vision and a gift for the art of celebration in all its forms.
An ideal made possible thanks to the extraordinary talent of Regis Camus, elected (for the fourth time!) best winemaker at the IWC in 2009 (International Wine Challenge).
In total, there are ten prizes that the Piper-Heidsieck House holds over 15 possible@ The Cuvee Brut, a blend of wines from several years, is its signatures. The Brut iconic red label is a sign of style and instant recognition. But beyond its signature, it is about attitude, continuous demand and constantly renewed passion.
This wine is predominately Pinot Noir based with Pinot Munier and Chardonnay adding to the blend. The wine is light golden in colour and the aromas of citrus and lime are balanced by some yeast toastiness. The palate exhibits tropical fruit with some nutty characters from the yeast and a persistent bead.
This wine is a must have for special occasions.
