Located in South Australia's Clare Valley region, the Watervale district is renowned for producing outstanding Rieslings. This Riesling displays an intense floral bouquet with limey, citrus fruit flavours on the palate and a clean, crisp finish. It has the pedigree to age gracefully for many years, yet retain its youthful freshness.
COLOUR
Vibrant, pale green.
BOUQUET
Delicate lemon citrus and white floral aromas are overlain with fresh granny smith apple notes.
PALATE
Restrained and delicate Riesling flavours of fresh lemon and lime are harmonised by a lively and zesty acidity provides a
structural backbone and great length to the palate. While fresh and vibrant to drink in its youth, the wine has great potential to age over the medium to longer term.
ASSESSMENT
An intensely flavoured young wine displaying attractive regional and varietal characteristics, which has the potential, with careful maturation in the screw cap sealed bottle, to develop the classic honeyed Riesling flavours.
