Viticulture
The vintage was warm resulting in berries with good colour and strong varietal flavour. The fruit for this wine was selected from premium vineyards throughout Australia.
Winemaking
The wine was fermented on skins for five days at an average temperature of 18c to extract maximum colour and flavour. 100% Malolactic fermentation followed to convert the harsher Malic acid and create a softer finish on the palate.
Selected parcels were then matured with a combination of American and French oak.
Cellaring
Enjoy now or cellar for up to 4 years.
Suggested food
Grilled lamb chops with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed greens.
